Art & Writing Contest

Jim Claypool Art & Conservation Writing Contests

Students are encouraged to submit creative writing and art entries for the Annual Conservation Writing and Art Contests sponsored by Kentucky Farm Bureau and the Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts (KACD). This year’s 2019 Jim Claypool Art and  Conservation Writing Contest theme was “Things That Fly,” focusing on how our natural environment affects our winged friends and vice versa.

The contest theme and details are typically announced in late Fall. Winners are announced in January. We will publish the information for the 2020 contest when it becomes available.
